The power cabling to connect the SS755 to the wall should be determined by the installing electrician, based on national and local codes. The information they need to make this determination is located on the serial number label on the unit. This label is located on the front of the left pedestal and also on the outside of the left lift-system bulkhead, viewable through the large hole on top of the Rear Access Panel. The label includes the operating voltage and the current draw (see below). The AWG will depend on the type of cable used, power configuration, distance from the main, etc. | Voltage | - | 220 VAC | | Amperage: | | | | Single Phase | - | 85A per phase | | 3-Phase | - | 49A per phase | Likely wiring configurations that the electrician will choose for both sides of the buck/booster are noted below. These configurations are only valid where the pre-buck/boost circuit panel voltage is above 200 VAC and the voltage is bucked/boosted to 220VAC measured at the bed with it operating. Single phase: 4 AWG Type THHN, packaged in a 2 current carrying cable plus ground. Three Phase: 8 AWG Type THHN, packaged in a 3 current carrying cable plus ground. Again, the above is meant only as general guidance of cabling needed for the SunScape. The electrician will make the final determination based on wire type, size, panel voltage, cable length, buck/booster settings, bed operating voltage and possibly other factors. |
